There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room. There is only one bathroom but it contains a large walk-in shower, small wall sink, and window from which you can watch the deer in the backyard. It is located in a quite neighborhood and contains a large carport with ample driveway for people who may want to bring their boats and fish across the road on Lake Dardanelle. Perfect for fishing tournaments, close to the nature center and playground at the park, and a short drive to downtown Russellville restaurants and shopping.

The master has a king bed and on suite bath with walk in shower and Jacuzzi tub. The two guest bedrooms have queen size beds, the guest bathroom has a walk in tub for those needing handicap facilities. Kitchen has all kitchen appliances and amenities as well as grill outside for use. We also have a formal dining room and lots of outdoor seating for dining and enjoying the views. The back side of the house has floor to ceiling windows for optimal viewing and allowing natural light in. We also have a theatre room for enjoyment that has two couches, single bed and 2 Murphy Beds and 2 toddler beds set up if you need or want those for younger kids to sleep. We have a air mattress available and lots of extra pillows and blankets for comfort available for your use. There is plenty of space for just about any size group. Several fire pits around for cozy comfort or roasting marshmallows. A quick drive down the driveway will take you to a local “secret” Lake Dardanelle fishing spot. This is our primary home and we stay in our garage apartment while guests are in residence. We are available for tours and to answer any questions. This is our home and farm so we will be around but when booking the entire home you will have it all to yourself. We made the decision to open our home up to meet and welcome people and share our little private escape from the busy city life. Parking-our property is very large and you could park a jumbo jet if needed. You will have no issues parking RV’s if you are on a stop through, trucks with boats and trailers, and a number of vehicles. We have covered parking for motorcycles and vehicles if you request. Guest access Guests will have full private access to home including master, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining, laundry, play area and media room. Main patios off the house will be private as well as fire pits. The land with farm animals and our son and his family live on the other home on the property so you may see any of us coming and going and tending to the land and animals. Other things to note Pets-we have several farm animals that stay in their fencing. We have three outdoor cats who enjoys a pet. The other home on the property is owned by my son; his wife and daughters have a big fur family! Dogs are out a various times of the day for restroom breaks, all are friendly and would enjoy being pet or played with. Because we are in the woods and there are a variety of wild animals, we do not allow pets as they would be unfamiliar with the surroundings and it might pose a danger to them; however we know people travel with their pets, so we have some great inexpensive options for boarding close to town that we can help you book for your pet. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable with pets and we will do our best to keep the pets in their home during your stay. If you have children who would like an introduction to the pets let us know. AUTHENTIC LOG CABIN: This cabin in located in Dublin, AR, 6.4 miles East of Scranton (15036 East State Hwy 197, Scranton, AR 72863), and adjoins Dublin Park/City Park, which is 2/10 mile (approx. 300 yards) from the cabin, where there is a boat dock and parking for your trucks and boat trailers while you fish. Ample parking for 3-4 trucks and trailers is also available at the cabin. Dublin Park/City Park is on Lake Dardanelle and has excellent fishing, skiing, and tubing. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: When you get to SCRANTON, go EAST on HWY 197 for 6.4 miles. The address is 15036 E State Hwy 197, Scranton, AR 72863. At the entrance to the cabin (right-hand side of the road), you will see an ARKANSAS RAZORBACK rock sign that says "THE SNOW's". (If you get to Dublin Park, you've gone just a little bit too far. Turn around and go back to the first drive you come to.) THE CABIN was built in 2004 by Bobby Snow (Owner), and has a wonderful cedar smell. It is 500 sq ft on the main floor and 250 sq ft in the loft. There is a queen size bed and an additional queen size mattress on the floor in the loft, so the loft will sleep 4 people. Two people can sleep on the sleeper sofa. There is also a blow-up double mattress and a blow-up twin mattress that can be used if you would prefer that instead of the sofa. Sheets and pillows are provided. A small balcony is upstairs outside the loft door. CABIN has a flat-screen television, DISH Satellite, and a DVD player. No internet or WIFI. Good cell phone reception for AT&T phones. (We recently put in a cell phone booster thinking it would help ALL cell phone reception; however, it does not help TMobile because there is no signal for it to boost. You can go back up to highway (about 100 yards) or about 1/2 mile down the road to get reception.) Floors are made of flagstone. There is a spiral staircase going up to the loft. KITCHEN is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, pots and pans, dish towels, dishwashing liquid, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, salt and pepper, etc. Please DO NOT pour grease down the drain; you can dump it outside in the trees. No washer, dryer, or dishwasher is available. You are responsible for your food and drinks. If you don't want to cook, there is a great little restaurant about 8 miles away called Porky's. There's also great hamburgers, salads, and daily specials at the 4-Way (gas station) in Scranton. They also have LIVE BAIT for your fishing. OUTSIDE there is a pavilion that includes a gas grill and a picnic table. A fire pit is next to the pavilion for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Front porch includes a cedar rocker swing. Also, there are two hammocks that can be hung between the trees, and one chair hammock that can be hung on the porch. BATHROOM has a shower (no tub), toilet, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, hair dryer, etc. We prefer NO PETS inside our cabin. Other guests may be allergic to animals. AT THE END OF YOUR STAY... Put all the dirty sheets, towels, etc. in the bathroom. Clean up the kitchen and put the dishes away. Take all left-over food with you or feel free to feed the animals. We will take care of the trash. Please don't put it outside on the porch. Neighbor's dogs will get into it and will spread it all over. Make sure heat/air is turned off, lights are off, and fans (including ceiling fans) are off.

The cabin is on Dublin Bay and across from the Dublin Bay recreation area and also close to the Shoal Bay recreation area. Boats can be loaded/unloaded at either and you can leave your boat trailer there or bring it to the cabin. Location is great for water sports, duck hunting, and fishing tournaments. The lake is only 100 feet from the cabin and we have a dock so that you can have your boat close by. The cabin has two main rooms and a bathroom. The first room has a full kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry, and one full size bed. The second room was added on in 2014 and has a great view of the lake. It has two queen murphy beds, a recliner, and a futon. A sliding glass door leads to the deck where you can relax and enjoy the view. We also have a rock patio area with a fire pit that is perfect for gathering at the end of the day.

Enjoy peaceful woods and a view of Lake Dardanelle from the dining room and back deck. This home is great for a family gathering and is 10 minutes from awesome Lake Dardanelle State Park. The property is quiet and nicely situated on 5 private acres in the woods and a generous distance from neighbors. The space: This is a basement studio apartment with private access from back yard of main house. Easily accessible and minutes from I-40. Pool area and outdoor space is shared with resident. Guest access: Park in the driveway to unload luggage. Follow the stepping stones, through the backyard, to access the guesthouse. (Push the lever on the gate to open.) Access to the rental space is under the deck. After you're moved in, we ask that you park on Castlerock Drive, to the north of the property, between the trees. Creekside Cottage Information:  Located just outside of the Shoal Bay Recreation Area gate in New Blaine, AR sits this tiny cottage. If you like to fish and enjoy all of the amenities that Shoal Bay has to offer but do not have an RV, this is the place for you. (Please note that the Recreation Area is only fully open March through September. If you come in the off season you can still enter to fish and hike, but the restrooms and swimming area will be closed). The tiny cottage is perfect for couples but can sleep four if the futon is used. This is not a 5 Star Hotel. It’s a cozy, comfortable, and conveniently located cottage that won’t break your budget. Creekside Cottage is a total of 400 square feet but offers a sitting area and kitchenette with coffee pot, microwave, small crock pot and mini fridge. (A larger fridge is located under the picnic pavilion.) There is a TV with DVD player and a selection of movies. Sorry, but no other TV service or WiFi is available at this time. A separate bedroom features a queen size bed with a comfortable 12" memory foam mattress. The rustic decor bathroom includes a large shower. Linens and dishes are provided.  Temperature is controlled by a window unit and ceiling fan. A heater is also available for those of you that are cold natured. Not only are you within walking distance of the Recreation Area. Which offers swimming, hiking, fishing, and a playground, the Creekside Cottage property has several great things to offer. A separate two car carport (approximately 200 feet from cottage) is available to park your vehicle or boat as well as a picnic pavilion sitting alongside the small wet weather creek that crosses the property. The charcoal grill, and fire pit add to your outdoor experience.   Local Information:  Shoal Bay Bait and Tackle is located next door to the property. Along with bait, they also have cold drinks and rent kayaks. There is a large Dollar General, a convenience store and a restaurant located within approximately two miles of the cottage.  Menus are provided for your convenience.  Area Information: New Blaine is half way between Paris, AR (The Gateway to Arkansas' highest point, Mt. Magazine) and Dardanelle, AR  (Home of Beautiful Mt. Nebo).  See these two mountains and take a 45 minute drive to Petit Jean State Park to complete your Tri-Peaks Tour.  Spring Lake Recreation Area and the Huckleberry Mountain ATV and Horse Trail System, are both located in the nearby Ozark National Forest.  Stop in Subiaco on your way to Paris and tour the beautiful Catholic Monastery - Subiaco Abbey.  In Paris, you will find Eiffel Tower Park, a nice place to add your Love Lock to the fence and take pictures at the tower fountain.  Also located in Paris is the Cowie Wine Cellar and Museum, part of the Arkansas Wine Trail.  One hour away is historic Ft. If you consider the cost of 'gas' to stay in a location further out, we believe our cottage is actually one of the best deals in this area and comparable to the cost of hotels. Washer & Dryer are located in the Kitchen Area. Ladies: Please bring your own washcloth or makeup removal pads for makeup removal. Cleaning fee does not include dishes ~ Please wash and put away the dishes and cooking utensils as they are used. Please do NOT make up the beds prior to leaving... Thanks :) Pets will only be considered on 'monthly' rentals. *** Additional Notes: Our home has 1 Queen Bed & 2 Twin Beds. We do offer a Queen air mattress, if needed, which would accommodate 2 additional people. Marie's is a very clean beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath vacation home in Subiaco, Ar. Just cross the street and you are at Subiaco Abbey. Marie's house, built in 1941, was completely renovated in 2020 and sits on 3 acres. The kitchen has beautiful new cabinets and new appliances. Luxury vinyl planks cover the floors throughout the house. The dining area includes a large dining table with 6 chairs. Each bedroom has their own private bath with tub and shower. Plus there is a powder room for guests not staying the night. The full laundry is located off the kitchen and has an ironing board and iron. Our Rock House was the first house built on our farm located north of Dover, AR. The house was built in the early 20th century and my Great Grandfather lived in the house. One of the unique features of the house is that its walls are solid rock. We have taken great strides in modernizing the house to make it a unique, but comfortable experience. The house is located in the middle of 200 acres ready to explore. Home is updated and has 2 bedrooms and a roll away bed in the back porch that is enclosed and heated. Canoeing. The property is 5-miles from Big Piney Creek and Rushing Road bridge. Big Piney Creek is a major canoeing destination in Arkansas. Moore Outdoors is a popular canoe rental for the Big Piney. Google Moore Outdoors to find their website. Property is also approximately 1 hour drive to Buffalo River. ATV Trail Riding. Approximately 15 miles north on Scenic Hwy 7 is the Mocassin Gap ATV Trail. Trails are well marked and easy to find. There are several waterfalls and pretty creek crossing. Brock Creek ATV trail is approximately 30-miles away. Brock Creek would be more advanced trails and the markings are not quite as good. Fishing. Lots of fishing options available in the area. There are stocked ponds available on the property that are available to fish. In addition, fishing the Big Piney Creek is very popular (twin bridges to Rushing Road leg of creek can be relaxing fishing/canoe ride). Lastly, Lake Dardanelle State Park, which is nationally known for its excellent bass fishing is a 12-mile drive from Dover, AR. Motorcycles: Perfect launching point for motorcycle riders wanting to explore the Ozark Mountains. Nice launching point to the following destinations: Jasper, AR, Hot Sprints, Mount Nebo, Mount Magazine. Swimming: The best swimming hole in Arkansas is located at Long Pool that has large rocks to jump off (anywhere between 8 to 12 foot drop) that kids absolutely go bonkers over. Long Pool State Park has $3 for parking and you need exact cash as it is self service. Bring a flotation device as you need to swim creek to get over to the rocks. Hiking: Close to the following hiking trails: Pedestal Rock (hike below bluff line to see all the caves), Glory Hole (waterfall flowing into cave), Alum Cove Natural Bridge (caves), Long Pool State Park (waterfalls), Whitaker Point (best site for picture in Arkansas to memorialize your trip). Closest Town: Dover, AR is approximately 5-miles away. Access to grocery store and restaurants available in Dover.

The “Subi House” is a lovely, spacious 3000 sq. ft. house located in Subiaco, Arkansas. The house is fully furnished with enough room to bring the entire family, or more! There are 2 master bedrooms, each one with a king size bed and an adjacent full bath. The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and the 4th bedroom is furnished with two sets of twin size bunk beds. The 3rd full bath is the common area bathroom. The house has beds for 10 and will sleep up to 14 comfortably with the two queen size air mattresses. It has 2 living areas, a formal dining room, which connects to a very spacious kitchen and a game room. There are 5 HD TVs, wireless internet, a pool table, a piano, an electronic dartboard and an Xbox 360 for your enjoyment. The laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer. The house also has a big fenced in backyard with a large deck with a grill and patio furniture. You will find all the comforts of home at the “Subi House”!
